Yapalong 6000 BT Boom (Open Mic/PTT Combo)
Our BT Boom (Open-MIC/PTT) headset is a Bluetooth headset. It is designed specifically for Yapalong 6000 radios. For the radio in Open-MIC mode, the headset is used as an Open-MIC headset automatically. For the radio in PTT mode, the headset is used as a PTT headset automatically.
It has the following features:
- ENC noise reduction technology using two microphones
- Rotational boom and ear hang to adapt to either ear
- Snug and comfortable to wear
- In-ear tips and half-in-ear tips with small and large sizes
- Light weight of 18 grams
This headset transmits low-power Bluetooth signals to the radio. Please wear the headset and the radio at the same side of your body to avoid body blocking to the Bluetooth signals.

Ear piece/6000’s
I am not a fan of this ear piece!!! I purchased additional ear pieces when the original one quit working after 3 times, I have contact the warranty dept and have gotten nowhere!!! This ear piece is worse than the original. I have also purchased an original one and it will not sink with any of my units, the sound quality is ok but volume is very low. Save your money and buy the 5000’s, The wireless ones are not worth the money.
